What a joke…Like Bush could give a speech without one…If thats all they have …Bring it on…LOSERS
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
who was it again that made the entire west burn trillions of dollars away on some useless wars. Hmmm, lets see, maybe that monkey president of you, o wait, former president (thank god)
And who was it again that cut taxes for 95% of your people. Hmmmmmm wait a minute, it’s that other monkey, from kenya.
Thank God you chose him, well I presume you didn’t chose him but I mean the american people in general. Not to generalize but to keep it easy. Lets say simple, easy sounds so lazy.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
Oh, and Cap and Trade? You mean one of the few good, successful ideas ever to come out of the GOP in the 80s? Worked like a charm with sulfur dioxide and nitrous oxide… now acid rain is way down. It’s not a tax on anyone. It’s cap and TRADE. You give companies credits, which they can TRADE among themselves. No money goes to government, no money comes from us the People. It’s companies trading credits amongst themselves.
And yes, Bush was VERY conservative. Reagan on steroids.

The Democrats lost Congress in 93. I’m talking about liberals, not Democrats. Democrats are hardly liberal.
Only 25% has been spent… so far. It’s being spent in stages, and it’s working. Look at Cash for Clunkers… a resounding success. The fact that we’re not in a depression now is proof the spending has worked. Ever heard of John Maynard Keynes?
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
>The government doesnt produce anything
Um, schools, libraries, roads, bridges, DARPA/the Internet, space flight, telecom satellites, GPS, police protection/law enforcement…. the list is long.
Not to mention all the basic research that government funds- which often ends up (unfortunately as privatized) products and patents.
As for Clinton/military: with the USSR collapsed, why keep pissing away money when there’s no other major military superpower? One reason we HAD a multi-billion surplus
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
@criskity
In decades? They lost congress in the 93 if im not mistaken. Hardly decades.
The cap and trade crap that this admistration wants will be a tax on everyone.Yea im not going to sit here and say that i didnt get $400 of my money back this year but how much is that going to cost me later?
How cant the stimulus bill stave off a depression Only about 25% of it has been spent. It was a failure.
Bush was not a conservative btw,and he is not my hero .
Have a nice weekend.

@SaganAppreciationSoc
Sorry it has taken so long to respond.
Not all change is good change. Like Clintons change in the military for example : he gutted the military. On the other hand the welfare reform he signed was a step in the right direction. (Obama undone that of course.)
The government doesnt produce anything. But what it does do is drain money from hard working people. Even if the person is “rich” it is still their money. Not mine.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
all right conservatives, lets see YOU try to remember 4000+ words without a teleprompter.
Your party is in the toilet, and when that toilet’s flush im gonna have a party

Republicans hate people of color. It’s a proven fact!
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
Marco Rubio? He must be one of those annoying Cuban Republicans from Florida.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
First, liberals haven’t had any power in the US in decades. The blame for our current economic woes rests, as usual, on decades of conservative policy.
Second, Clinton, a moderate, raised taxes on the rich, and the result was 8 years of prosperity.
Third, Obama CUT the taxes of 95% of Americans. The spending, initiated by right-wing hero Bush, and continued to a lesser degree by Obama, is Keynesian stimulus, which is working. Government spending got us out of the Great Depression, after all.

@southernborn1860
>”The fact the liberals keep doing the same things and think they are going to? achieve a different outcome”
While there is a tiny grain of truth in this, I have to point out that in fact, liberals are usually the ones who often want change, whether it be in education, health care, manufacturing, social systems, the military, etc., etc.
I’m amazed at how the Fox News types keep talking about increased taxes. Most of us are getting CUTS. The super wealthy won’t be.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
“Reality has well-known liberal bias”
And what reality is that exactly? The fact the liberals keep doing the same things and think they are going to achieve a different outcome.
It is liberals that raise taxes in the middle of an economic melt down , and spend money that we don’t have and will not have for another 50 years.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
Wow, Some sense of humor, Talk about cant find anything new to say. The Lamest PPL on earth haha.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
genie,
I’m sure the Africans can come to YOUR level of education in no time at all.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
This whole “Obama + teleprompter” meme is idiotic at the very heart of it. EVERY politician uses teleprompters, including their heroes Bush and Reagan.
And Palin… palm, anyone?
Sorry, but Conservatives just can’t do comedy. Comedy requires some connection to reality, and reality has a well-known liberal bias.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
conservatives need to give up the teleprompter jokes. they just don’t work.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm

Looks like that Obama will be a one term pres in the Jimmy carter Tradition

What a difference just one year made, huh? Last year this time, Obama was the savior and untouchable. Now everyone on the right rushes to score a joke off this emperor (or Czar) that wears no cloth.
HAHAHAHAHAHA….
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
Do these stooges ever have anything of value to say, or is it always idiotic jokes and fake laughter? Generally speaking, I know genuine human emotion when I see it, and I never see it from this guy. It`s almost as if he were being paid to come up with anything he can to make conservatives look foolish… hmm. Speaking of foolish… I loved the `Stuck In the Middle` reference. Fail. Try again.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
@genie0390 The Irish guys did not emmigrate to US, because their country was doing so fine, or because they were so “able to operate in” it, either, but because they fled from starvation.
The fact, that you title all African immigrants as tribal is purely racism, the way you address all African nations as indiscriminately the same and sniding them with your sarcasm is racism, and your demand, that all immigrants have to be the EXACT same as europeans is racism. Just shut up.
March 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
i am sure that the African tribal immigrants are EXACTLY the same quality as those Europeans that came in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, just as able to operate in a European style Country as the Europeans. Same work ethics, same levels of education and knowledge.
look at how great the Africans are performing in African Black Countries
look at S. Africa for example. The Zulu tribal guys know all about market economies, all the technologies required, engineering, med sciences etc
